I’m loving the drugstore atm, it’s been so good to me and I’ve acquired a few gems to add to the stash! I’ve had time to play and really test these products out and I’m happy to report that they’re LWSS approved. I love it when you pay almost nothing for a product and you don’t expect much because its dirt cheap, then suddenly are blown away by the results (oh yea baby). I have a few complaints or what I like to call “bloggers criticism” but other than that well worth the mula!
- Dove Dry Shampoo – (Recommended to me via twitter thanks to my lovely subscriber) My lazy ass doesn’t like to deal with hair! It’s a whole lot easier now that its short but I’m guilty of skipping a wash or two. My hair is thick and coarse so if I were to wash it everyday it would instantly dry out. This dry shampoo absorbs oil without making the hair feel gritty or sticky. There is no white cast and it smells amazing. I’m super impressed and can’t believe it is only $4!
- Rimmel
JustLet It Go Eye Makeup Remover – “Let it go, let it go, that perfect eye look is gone”. Anna mentioned this in her drugstore beauty favorites and I thought I’d give a try. Surprisingly it removes everything, even waterproof mascara! You have to rub a few more times or just let the cotton pad sit on the eye for a minute to brake down the makeup. Its oil-free so you aren’t left with greasy eyes which is a win in my book. Queen Elsa would totally dig this, even the blue packaging! - Wet N Wild Bare It All Lipstick – I paid $1 dollar for this lipstick and while it might not be the smoothest formula it’s worth playing around with it. It’s a natural nude shade with a matte finish. I just pat this onto moisturized lips because the pigment of this lipstick is ridiculous! It feels dry on the lips but I put a bit of lip balm over top to make it work for me.
