I posted a picture on Instagram standing next to a Sephora bag containing the latest from Dior. I was tempted to leave with an abundance of lip products but I was a good beauty blogger. I mainly went to pick up a few of the new fluid sticks but I came across their new primer and it was love at first spray!
Dior Airflash CC Primer – A bit gimmicky but very effective. This primer is slightly tinted, it’s meant to correct discoloration and brighten dull complexions. If you have extreme hyper-pigmentation don’t expect miracles but it could help with evening out your skin tone. You get such a gorgeous sheen to the skin without looking like a grease ball. It reminds me of the Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel Illuminating Base, you know that whole undetectable glow. I spray this directly onto the face (several inches away) and gently pat it in with my fingers. I find that my foundation adheres nicely to it and look’s even better throughout the day! I’ve had all weekend to give it a test run and I wubbs it!
Dior Addict Fluid Sticks – After much deliberation I chose the shades Whisper Beige (a nude with peach undertones) and Rieuse (a watermelon coral). If you’ve tried the Hourglass Opaque Lip Rouge you’ll find that they have similar textures upon initial application. It literally feels like you’re putting wet cold paint on the lips. They aren’t a matte finish but somehow have a similar effect to that of a lip stain. I’m probably all over the place trying to describe the finish of this lipstick to you but its such a unique formula! Your lips look glossy and healthy without being sticky. The consistensy makes me think of the Josie Maran Watercolor Cheek Gelée, you just have to try it out yourself! The applicator is a triangular shape and dispenses the right amount of product. True story, I took a 3hr nap the other day wearing this and the darn thing was still on when I woke up!
Dior done did it again . . .
