My step sissy Paloma is a total makeup junkie like moi and I think I’ve influenced a quite a few of her purchases as well. I can text her at 1AM talking about the latest lip release and she totally gets me. She was kind enough to let me ask her a few questions and peek into her makeup bag
LWSS : “So what’s your everyday routine like?”
Paloma : “I really don’t wear make-up every single day but when I do I prefer a more natural look.”
LWSS : “In what order do you apply your makeup and what products have you been using?”
Paloma : “I start off with my foundation, atm I’m using one from Sephora’s own brand which is really nice. It isn’t heavy and it looks like skin when applied. I just bought the Real Techniques Expert Face brush and it buffs my foundation in perfectly. I use my Nars Radiant Concealer under my eyes and blemishes. This is the best concealer i’ve ever tried, it was totally worth the money! I use my M.A.C Studio Fix powder to set my t-zone because I do get oily throughout the day. I then move onto eyes but before anything I must use eye primer because my eyelids are oily as hell! I use the Naked 2 palette pretty much for everything. Chopper is my favorite shade to use for everyday and I just put all over my eyelid with the brush that came in the palette. For more of a night out I use the shade Pistol. I then move on to lashes with my Shiseido Eyelash Curler and apply Maybelline’s Full & Soft WP Mascara. I own three other mascaras right now but this one is my favorite, thank you for introducing me to it! After my eyes are done I use a peachy blush from Sephora’s brand with the Real Techniques Blush brush. As a highlighter I use Nars Copacabana illuminator and place it on the tops of my cheekbones. I don’t bronze or contour my cheekbones but I do contour my nose just a bit, I use M.A.C Blunt and it’s a good shade for me. For my lips I’m loving Maybelline’s Totally Toffee. The shade is a pretty brown nude and looks good with any look I’m doing. I guess that’s pretty much sums up my routine!”
LWSS : “What’s your favorite piece of makeup?”
Paloma : “It would have to be mascara all the way!”
LWSS : “What’s on your current wish-list?”
Paloma : “I really want the Dior Creme De Rose lip balm but now I hear it’s being discontinued so I haven’t been able to get a hold of it! I also want a new face powder but I’m not sure as to which brand I want, I need something that works and helps my oily t-zone.”
