I’ve been trying out new skincare items from Kate Somerville and one old favorite. I’d say I’ve been giving these a test run for a month now and finally started to see results within the past two weeks. These are the four products that have given me soft baby (butt) skin, a babies bottom is incredibly smooth!
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment – This stuff is by far the best manual abrasive exfoliator I’ve ever tried hands down! I use it 1-2 times a week when my skin is feeling a bit dull and needs a polish. First of all it smells like pumpkin and cinnamon, it contains Lactic Acid which acts a natural AHA exfoliator, Aloe Vera, Antioxidants and Vitamins. The texture/evenness of my skin overall has improved tremendously and it’s all down to this. The key is rubbing it in for a good 40-50 seconds then leaving it on for the 2 minutes as it says. I was doing 1 minute and not giving it enough time to sink into the skin to let it work. My skin isn’t very sensitive so I can get away with using this but they also do a gentle version if you’re willing to give it a try.
Kate Somerville Gentle Daily Wash – This is your basic everyday gel cleanser to remove makeup and help with pore-clogging. It’s sulfate-free and the majority of its ingredients are Botanicals. I absolutely think Kate nailed it with packing when it comes to her line and I love that this tube has a twist cap closure. It does exactly what it says on the box, super basic which you all know I love!
Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream – This is a moisturizer I’ve used in the past which was great then and great now! It’s also brilliantly packaged in a manda-pump design and can be used both in the am/pm. I’ve done an entire review on it here if you’re interested in knowing what my thoughts were.
Kate Somerville Cyto Cell Dark Circle Corrective Eye Cream – This was probably the most intriguing item out of the bunch to try out. It has a window at the side of the bottle to see how much product you have left, genius. The pump also dispenses whatever amount you need so you aren’t wasting product. I know things like this take time to show results and sure enough it worked. I don’t suffer from really bad dark circles but I still have them, my issue is more so a really dry under-eye area. With all the holiday events and sleepless nights this really has helped me out. I currently have redness underneath the eyes but thats due to lack of sleep, all the purple has completely neutralized. This contains stem cell technology along with peptides to aid puffiness, wrinkles, and darkness.
