My 5 Minute Face Drawer

Remember I was telling you guys I wanted the double mini mooge stack to store everyday items? I was able to get a hold of them in NYC and I’ve officially renamed them my “5 minute drawers”. The top drawer houses makeup I might be testing or multi-tasking products to get the job done fast and efficiently. For base I’ve been using the Chanel CC Cream in 40 Biege on days I want a bit more coverage than my *Kate Somerville CC Cream. I apply them both with my hands and it literally takes seconds to do. For concealing the Chanel Perfection Correction Concealer in B30 is sooo good, it has a slight peach undertone which helps counteract my dark circles. The formula itself is creamy, moisturizing and it has yet to crease on me. I’ll then set all my base work with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in 2 Medium. For my cheeks cream blush and highlight are the textures I’ve been applying atm. I love a good glossy cheek and the *Jouer Tint in Petal is my favorite, it’s a brown peachy pink that looks very natural on the skin. To highlight I’ll dab a bit of the *Wander Beauty On the glow stick with my ring finger, this stuff blends like a dream and gives off a subtle sheen. I recently purchased the Burberry Effortless Brow Definer in Ash Brown so I’ll let you know my feelings once I’ve played with it a bit more but so far I’m impressed. Last comes lips and the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Balm in 02 Coral has been life changing! I’m so happy with it that I went ahead and ordered 06 Rosewood. They’re so creamy and give the lips a hint of color while delivering loads of moisture. If I have time or want to add definition to my lips I’ve been reaching for the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Iconic Nude. It’s a browny nude shade (surprise, surprise) that pairs nicely with the lip balm.

I think what I like about all these products is that I could alter them to my liking or pass if I’m in a rush. I also have the option of switching products out but still keeping everything very minimal and under 5 minutes to apply. *Pats self on shoulder

I have a very similar set up; I keep the majority of my collection in my IKEA Alex Drawers but then have two Muji drawers in which I keep my “new in” and “quick face” products in, I find that having them at easy reach greatly benefits me on a morning when i’m in a rush to get ready. I have all my “go to” products at easy reach and I also can see what I need to test out and trial for blog purposes! Lovely set up, as always!

Your make up looks so organised! These product sound lovely, I really need to put something like this together as I always end up packing way too much make up when I go on holiday and never using it! This would make life so much easier! Thank you!

I’ve been wanting to this recently too, it seems like the easiest and neatest way to keep the core products together, whilst also keeping track of what products you’re testing for the blog ^_^

Your dressing table set up is so classy! Love it and can’t wait to have a delve into your blog after my final exam, you’ve mentioned quite a few products I’ve got my eyes on!

Love the idea of having a 5-minute face set up with. Makes the daily makeup routine simple and takes any guess working out of it. I guess I have something similar, except I would call it my 5-minute-makeup-bag.

Oh this is a very smart way to establish a ‘quick face’ routine! I love the products that you use too; simple and just enough to create the ‘woke up like this’ look.

Loved the idea of this so much that I got a single muji drawer and put in my go-to 5 minute products. Great Idea Tamira!
