Every now and again I show a sneak peak of my work area, recently I was sent a few new pieces and had to share them with you all! In my past experiences the key to self motivation is making sure your surroundings are free of clutter and easy on the eye. If you work around chaos and clutter it creates distraction which can then be difficult to produce content. Everyone’s taste is different which is fine but I prefer something more refined and modern.
Now lets start with a common question I always get asked, my wall color… It’s a Behr paint in the shade Blue Willow (I literally had to sift through cans of paint in the basement). The color is a grayish blue that we chose a few years ago when we purchased the house. As for the desk, its from IKEA and here is the link if you’re interested in checking it out. I’ve changed the way my desk is set up a few times already but I’d say for the past 5 months it’s been the same layout. I like to add new pieces to change it up but still keep my area functional above all else. I received *charging docks for both my Apple Watch and iPhone from Native Union. I’ve talked about the brand in the past and I’m a huge fan! They have the most aesthetically pleasing pieces I’ve ever come across as far as accessories go. The marble is cut beautifully and the design is simple. The wall mount was purchased at Target by a brand called Urbio (not sure if it is still available in stores). Diptyque is still my candle of choice although I’m very tempted to purchase a Byredo candle, any suggestions?
In other news my Frends headphones broke and I’m so pissed because I haven’t even owned them for a full year. The threading somehow came apart and the wires were exposed. The boy was kind enough to purchase the Beats Studio Wireless headphones as my V-day gift (gadgets are the way to my heart) and they’re amazing!
