This is such a simple fun project to do with your little ones and literally costs nothing compared to necklaces I’ve seen online. Now I already purchased these pre-made pom poms at my local craft store but you can make your own by using yarn too! Jelly liked that these had “spawkly” bits on the pom poms.
You will also need some form of rope (for the necklace), and a glue gun.
All together I think I spent $6 for all of my supplies, now we have pom poms for days!
[pipdig_left] [/pipdig_left] [pipdig_right] [/pipdig_right]I wanted the necklace to hang a little lower on Jelly so I measured it to her height (approx. 13in long).
Decide a pattern and spacing prior to glueing anything on!
I opted for a simple design to match this pink tulle skirt from Walmart for $5.97, they also have it in a few different colors and it’s such great quality.
All you have to do is sandwich 2 pom poms between your rope of choice with a bit of glue and tada! Add buttons, rhinestones, flowers, etc to spice it up a bit!

She is very happy with the end result and had a blast creating her own necklace. These also make for great party favors or even playing dress-up with friends!
