“Stick” everything is taking over the makeup industry, this new foundation from Hourglass has been added to the stash! They’ve released this seamless full-coverage formula that is almost weightless on the skin. This is very easy to maneuver on the face and has such smooth fluidity. Although it is labeled as full-coverage it can also be sheared-out to a light layer of base.

I think the key with cream stick foundations is layering where you need coverage, if you draw it on like a crayon expect to see a hot mess of shit on your face. If you sandwich sheer layers and set with powder your good. I swear by the Ambient Dim lighting powder and it sets this perfectly. I’d say dry to normal skin-types will love this, I’m oily-combo and still like the finish it gives (I’m ok with a little natural sheen). I also wanted to make mention that I didn’t experience any oxidizing.

I’m about and NC35 and the shade color Golden Tan is the perfect match for me. I’ve applied this foundation with two different tools, a beauty blender and the Hourglass Vanish Foundation Brush. I use the beauty blender with everything but I must say the Hourglass brush is very nice. It’s densely packed like a buffing brush should be and it’s extremely soft.
Also, leave it to Hourglass to create innovating packaging! The triangular shape and satisfying click… fu*king genius. This formula is a bit dryer that the MUFE HD foundation stick so if that didn’t work for some of you this might be one to try. Overall I’m a huge fan!
