This has to be one of the most bad ass releases Glossier have done yet. This is perhaps my favorite launch purely because of the message it promotes. The photos for this campaign are women of all sizes and skin color looking absolutely stunning baring it all for the world to see. It’s inspiring that these women were brave enough to expose their insecurities and show vulnerability, that at the end of the day we are all still the same. Strong ass females…
Having tried the Body Hero duo myself I can tell you it does not disappoint. I will start off by saying that it is hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, gynecologist tested (yay for the hoohah), soap free, paraben free, cruelty free, and vegan. The Body Hero Daily Wash Oil is an oil obviously but starts to emulsify once it makes contact with water. It isn’t greasy nor is it sticky, it’s pure milky silk and develops a nice froth on the skin. I’ve actually been using this as a shaving oil as well, bomb AF… Great for a dry skin lemme tell ya!
The Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream is equally as good, think dewy skin but just for the rest of your body minus the stick. They have an Orange Blossom Neroli Blend when it comes to scent but in my opinion very soft and subtle. To me, it smells like something my grandmother would whip out of her medicine cabinet and not in a bad way. There is something nostalgic about the fragrance. Again the packaging is spot on and travel-friendly in the sense that it doesn’t leak or spill, I’m aware they are a pretty large size at 250ml each. Mini’s of these would be great don’t you think?
