Are you as shocked as I am? Little ol’ me, in the top 10, for Allure? Errrmagerrd, I couldn’t even contain myself with all the excitement when I heard the news! I started to cry immediately to the point where I probably sounded like a blubbering mess when I spoke with Allure. This is so surreal and I can’t even put words together to express my emotions at this very moment. Allure has chosen 10 beauty bloggers nationwide to participate in this contest. Everyone remembers the gorgeous Cara Brook who took home the prize during last year’s awards!
So what’s at stake? The grand prize will be a trip to NYFW, a feature in Allure’s October 2014 issue, an invitation to their Best of Beauty party, a tour of Revlon’s HQ and much more! We will be given a series of challenges that will go on for the next 5 weeks starting April 14th (this coming Monday). This is a competition and elimination is every week so you can vote once a day for the entire week to help me advance to the next round! For voting you’ll automatically will be entered to win a trip to Mexico and a bunch of other cool prizes. I will be tweeting and posting everything to keep you guys up to date with the entire event. I apologize in advance for all the feed clutter! This year they’re introducing a comments section for you guys so please share your thoughts and interact with us all!

As much as I would like to see this whole thing through and potentially be in the top 3 I’m just grateful for even being chosen to be a part of this awesome experience!
