Adding to the “buki” stash in comes the Rae Morris Deluxe Kabuki brush. This was a complete spontaneous purchase and I totally blame Instagram for it, you’ve got to blame someone right? Rae Morris released her new magnetic brush range which seems gimmicky but such a good feature to have. They do sell a magnetic plate to have the brushes stand up right making them easier to find and keeps the bristles from touching surface tops or each other (hygienic indeed). You can also hang them upside down on any magnetic surface while they’re drying to prevent damage, fu*king genius I tell ya! Now on to the bristles, soft as a babies butt! The point of the brush is nice and tapered making it a great multitasker. I can contour, highlight, set and apply blush with just this single brush because of its shape! It hasn’t shed at all even after the first wash so I’m extremely impressed. I will be investing in a few eye brushes and the magnetic plate in the near future. Huge thumbs up from me!

    oh that’s SO SMART to have magnets at the bottom! My entire fridge can be covered instead of having them EVERYWHERE on the counter. I’m wondering if I could DIY this for my existing brush collection…

    This looks so good! I’ve heard Karima from Shameless Fripperies rave about Rae Morris brushes in general for ages, I really want to get some at some point! Brushes are definitely one of my soft spots.
