So many of you like me have been waiting for Hourglass to extend their brow shade range, We spoke and they listened! I’ve been using this pencil for over a year now and trust me when I say it’s worth the hype. Hourglass added 6 new shades to the line, Platinum Blonde (lightest cool blonde), Warm Blonde (dark blonde/strawberry blonde), Auburn (medium to deep red tones), Warm Brunette (warm medium brown), Ash (gray/dark brown with cool undertones), and Natural Black (darkest brown to black).
I currently use Dark Brunette but now have shades to choose from since I have dark hair with cooler undertones. I was most intrigued by the Natural Black, it’s said to always use a shade lighter than your natural hair color to avoid stark unnatural looking brows but that isn’t the case with this particular shade. Its base is a very gray brown with just a smidge of black. That just sounded like I’m brewing something in a cauldron… wtf? What I’m trying to say is the color of the pencil is impressive and the formula is a perfect combination of wax/powder. The unique triangular shape allows you to fill in your brows super-fast and has a spoolie on the other end that can help blend harsh lines if you over-do it. This pencil is amazing and definitely my favorite above all others!
