Adding To The Skin & Body Line-up
I’ve been really into body care lately, I think its due to my workload and just wanting to pamper myself at the end of the day. Sometimes I feel guilty about using up body and skincare products because you’re literally washing them down the drain but it makes me happy! Funny enough these products were the inspiration behind choosing the color scheme of my website so it’s only fair I give them a mention. . .
- Fig + Yarrow Cardamom & Coffee Scrub – This smells like a straight up coffee shop! Since being out in the sun I’ve had to exfoliate more and this gets rid of all the dead skin on my body. It can be a bit messy but like the fact that it’s a dark color, I can actually see it when I clean the tub.
- Fig + Yarrow Pink Love Salts – Another product from this brand and now I see why all the UK girls like Himalayan bath salts so much. They contain essential oils that fill the room with such a soothing scent, these make for the ultimate bathing experience. I wish bath salts could be used in showers!!!
- Verso Day Cream – I call this the very “pinterest” skincare brand, the packaging alone is stunning but like most products it’s whats inside that counts. This day cream is very hydrating and contains retinol 8, Retinol helps with plumping the skin and helps reduce pigmentation that comes with sun damage. I love the texture of this cream and the way my makeup lays over top of it.
- Glossier Coconut Balm Dot Com – I told you I’d be trying this and like the original formula this stuff is the sh*T! I’m a huge fan of coconut anything and this smells amazing! This has now become my lip balm of choice along with rubbing a bit on my cuticles. I have something really cool in the works so stay tuned if any of the Glossier products interest you!
- Herbivore Botanicals Repair Healing Balm – While the idea of a hand balm doesn’t sound appealing to me this isn’t sticky or tacky at all. It comes in a metal tin and it’s been living on top of my night table. I tend to use this right before bed because it’s on the richer side than an average hand cream. Good shuuu-tuff!
