I’m finally content with how my little nook is set up now. This originally was my makeup/workspace but found it was just too hectic to work with product all around me. I’ve recently started to crush on copper and how it looks against marble, black and wire textiles. Starting with the left of my desk is this awesome lamp which my dear mother picked up for me, it’s from Target and has a real marble base. In the winter time I tend to pick up succulents and cacti because they’re easier to maintain so I put one of my succulents in this glass jar I found at Marshalls for $2 and spray painted it black! I always have some type of scent on my desk and Byredo Gypsy Water fits the bill (review coming soon). Then I have my Diptyque Baies candle because I can’t work without it.
To the right of my desk I have this Urbio wall storage mount which looks modern and gives me the option to keep other essentials around without the clutter. My Seagate External Hard Drive stays at the top for easy access. The magnetic cups are strong enough to hold my Canon G7X which isn’t light. Another thing I like about this system is you don’t destroy the walls because its held up by removable adhesive strips. Since it’s magnetic I can post pictures of friends or reminders like I have above. Underneath the storage system I have a silver wire basket that’s sitting over top of this Marble Slab I picked up from Home Depot ($4 bucks people). I have my Figuier Room Spray which is the best I’ve ever used, all you need it one spray and the room smells for days! The monogrammed cups are from Design Letters which have some Muji gel pens, Target pencils and paper clips in an empty Dipyque jar.
Lastly on the single shelf I keep a box with all my cords, headphones, SD cards and more stationary bits. Having a clean and clear desk to work on definitely helps when creating productive workspace. So I’m gonna take my ass back to work…
