To Do List – These come in handy all year round but very crucial come the new year. Demographics, paperwork, links, etc need to be updated so having a little “tick” list is great to have close by.

Clear out – Since we’re starting the new year having a huge product clear out is good to make room for new items. Most beauty products have expiration dates so go through it all and be realistic as to what you will use up or what needs to get chucked. I usually get rid of lipsticks that smell funny or cream/liquids, they tend to go bad first vs. powder products.

Splurge item – I think it’s nice to buy something special for your workspace such as a candle or even fresh flowers! I finished my Diptyque Baies so I will be getting another full-sized candle for 2016. Photo frames with loved ones in them also add a nice personal touch to your desk area.

New Planner, Stationary Notebook – New year means new calendar and having to fill in all the blanks with upcoming events (so satisfying). I’m such a stationary junkie but very particular at the same time so I like to invest when it comes to certain items. Like I mentioned in my previous post I was on the hunt for a new planner and ended up with the LV monogram agenda in the PM size. I was just at Target and went nuts in the $1 section with all the cute notepads, stickies, etc. I think filling up a blank book with important dates really gives you the motivation one needs when starting the new year!

To do lists are something I need to get into the habit of doing more, they always make me feel more organised!

I am into stationaries too, and now that I am back in school, I am taking full advantage of the fact that I have to use them often. I am going to miss them once I am done with school though.

I need to get in the habit of writing more To Do lists and actually follow them… Also I might have a stationary addiction, but can you blame me? There are so many cute things and if the occasion rises who am I not to take advantage! Happy New Year!

Fellow stationery junkie here — I still haven’t decided on a paper planner yet, but I’m thinking of DIY as I just can’t find anything that’s *perfect*, you know?!
