Maybelline Colorsensational The Buffs Collection

Nude is making a come back and better than ever! Maybelline released a new lipstick range full with an array of nudes to choose from. I picked two that suit my NC35 skin tone best and I’m in love! First up is 930 Truffle Tease which if you missed out on M.A.C Nude from Rihanna’s collection this is an option. It’s not as dark as M.A.C Nude but it has very similar dark brown undertones. Next is 945 Stormy Sahara which is a warm peachy nude. This makes me think if M.A.C Shy Girl and Peach-Stock had a baby, Stormy…

Diptyque Rosa Mundi

This limited edition candle couldn’t have been released at a better time because Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. With its pink hues and packaging Diptyque always has a rich history behind each of their scents . . . “Rosa Mundi, a variety of rose, was named after Rosamund Clifford, the mistress of King Henry II (England’s monarch from 1154 to 1189). Rosamund Clifford (1150-1176), also known as the “The Fair Rosamund” or “Rose of the World”, was his ill-fated long-time mistress; Princess Eleanor of Aquitaine, Henry’s subsequent wife, jealous of her husband’s relationship with Rosamund, is said to…

My Muji Storage, Winter Rotation

The Muji series continues with the “Winter Edition”. They haven’t changed too much since the Autumn rotation but I have switched it up a bit and added a few things. What really influences as to who checks in this acrylic trio stack is my skin’s behavior. Usually during the Winter I tend to get super dry skin around my nose and cheeks. I keep certain products that will add hydration and glow back into my skin (maybe a few extra bits as well). Lets start at the tippy top once again . . . Just a really quick run through of all…

Allure Lustings For January

The stunning Penelope Cruz is on the cover of this months magazine and her makeup was done by the talented Charlotte Tilbury. This issue wasn’t as full as last months but there were a few items and articles that sparked my interest . . . 1. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – I’m currently on the market for a new daily moisturizer and I use Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentrate but I just squeezed out the last bit. I like a good moisturizing base to give my foundation some slip when I apply it. This might be an option. 2.…
