I had a little cleaning sesh to make room for new Spring items and picked up some tulips to freshen things up over here at LWSS HQ’s! My desk pretty much consists of my everyday makeup products or new products I’m testing out but every now and again I try to switch it up.
- To the far left – I have a few empty Diptyque jars that hold my tools, some mini lip products, and small perfume samples. I also store my brushes in a Design Letters cup which sits on a ceramic tray. The try allows me to put things like jewelry or acts as a home for my beauty blender.
- In the middle of the desk – I’m still a huge fan of the Simple Human sensor mirror which I’ve done an full review here if you’re interested in knowing more about it.
- To the far right – still lives my good ole mooge, this is the 3 drawer acrylic stack. I’ve been going back and fourth about investing in a second drawer system, I’m still debating (it will just give me reason to buy more makeup). On the top of my mooge sits another acrylic container which I found at my local Marshall’s. In it I have foundations, primers, lip liners, eye liners and lipsticks. If you’ve read my Muji installments my drawers always start with base products such as powders, concealers, and primers first. The second drawer holds blushes, bronzers and other cheeks products. Lastly the third drawer contains a mix of lip and eye products.
The desk itself is from IKEA and well worth the $40 especially if you’re on a budget! It has a semi floating shelf which I store extra products and swap them out when I want to try out different makeup looks. As a blogger you would think I have more than this but I only use what I like and it works for me! I’m also huge on design and layouts so whatever makes sense in my crazy head is what I usually gravitate towards. The Spring Muji rotation will be up in a few weeks time so stay tuned for that!
