Chanel CC Cream

IMG_6830

More than half of my base collection consists of tinted moisturizers and bb/cc creams, the formulas just keep getting better with every new release. I just added the Chanel CC cream to the stash all thanks to sweet Suzie, her skin looked flawless and I was immediately sold! I went with the shade 40 beige which is a perfect match for my NC30-35 skin tone. The color range is limited to 3 shades which is probably my only complaint, sorry for those who are darker or really pale! The plastic packaging is lightweight and makes it perfect for traveling or storing. This is another one that contains SPF50 so you’ll be well protected from the sun (still wear SPF underneath it though). The consistency of the cream is a bit thicker than your average TM but still very blendable and feels like nothing on the skin. I went ahead and compared it to my Kate Somerville CC cream, both are very similar in finish giving you that dewy healthy glow. The only difference between the two is that the Chanel CC cream is higher in coverage. Its pretty much up to how much coverage you prefer, I personally can’t choose between the two! I found that using my fingers gave the best natural finish and then used a damp beauty blender to go over any streaks. Even though the finish is dewy and fresh I was able to get away without powdering for the day, I didn’t look greasy or shiny! It also contains Hyaluronic Acid so super dry skins would love this and oily gals might have to prime/powder. Totally worth giving it a shot if ya ask me. . . Oh and will I use this in a video for you all? Yup, I got you!

I’m so thrilled and pleased with the Chanel CC cream! I just recently purchased it while in Paris and oh my I fell in love. I use it every single day to university.

there are more than 3 shades 🙂 I have B10 which is super pale (more pale than the vitalumiere Aqua in B10 etc) and a really good match for me, I could have got away with B20 for summer when the assistant tried it on me but stuck to B10. Xx
